effects of a nuclear-armed state controlled by Islamists, and relevant U.S.

Bruce Riedel, a former CIA officer is a senior fellow at the Saban Center for Middle East Policy at the Brookings Institution. He chaired an interagency review of policy toward Afghanistan and Pakistan for the Obama administration that was completed in March 2009.
