The Threat of Non-Citizen Voting
von Spakovsky, Hans A.
Heritage Foundation, Legal Memorandum #28, July 10, 2008, 11p
"Americans disagree on many areas of immigration policy, but not on the basic principles that only citizens should be able to vote in elections. To keep non-citizens from diluting citizens' votes, immigration and elections officials must cooperate far more effectively, and state and federal officials must increase their efforts to enforce the laws against non-citizen voting that are already on the books."
Hans A. von Spakovsky served as a member of the Federal Election Commission for two years. Before that, he was Counsel to the Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights at the U.S. Department of Justice.
