Interview: Forecasting the Future Frons, Marc
American Journalism Review, June/July 2009, online edition
Marc Frons, the New York Times' chief technology officer of digital operations, gives his opinion on the future of the Newspapers in an interview with Katherine King. He believes that "Newspapers will still exist, but I don't see them as a mass market medium 10 to 20 years from now. I think by that time, most people will be getting their news on electronic devices and not in print. Print will be a much smaller and more elite vehicle for the people who still want print and are willing to pay for it."
