Ron Kirk Talks Trade
Stokes, Bruce
National Journal, October 16, 2009, v41, #42, 2p
"Let's get you a better prescription. Because then you will be able to see the value that neither your farmers nor the National Association of Manufacturers nor Congress nor any of the economists in the U.S. are seeing. [...] our recent mini-ministerial meetings in India and at the G-20 had a pretty strong recognition that we need to go back to the table and negotiate in all forums: multilaterally and bilaterally, and across all sectors, including services. [...] that is most likely to put us in a position where we can achieve our goal of a balanced, ambitious agreement with meaningful market access for everyone."
Bruce Stokes is Bruce Stokes is the international economics columnist for the National Journal.
